On 20 October 2026, we were delighted to welcome a SIAMS inspector (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) to Highnam Church of England Primary Academy.

We are extremely proud that this inspection recognised the strength of our Christian vision and the positive impact it has on our children, staff and wider community. The report highlights how our vision, Inspiring Everyone to Shine, is lived out through the school's values, relationships, collective worship and curriculum.

The report says that:

"Pupils and staff are valued, loved and given opportunities to let their light shine."

and

We would like to thank our children, staff, governors (local advisors), church partners, families and the wider community for the part they play in making Highnam such a special place to learn and grow.
