Academy dancers WOW at Forest Festival

Yesterday 21 Year 4 and 5 Highnam pupils represented the Academy in the Wyedale Community Dance Festical held at the Forest of Dean theatre in Coleford. After a number of week preparing the dance finally we had the opportunity to perform the routine in front of over 100 people. Many of our friends and family packed into the theatre to see us perform the routine 'I BELIEVE'. Miss Read had prepared for us a difficult set of moves and we were eager to show the audience what we had learnt. 

I was quite nervous during the performance as I was often at the front of the stage. At the end of the performance the audience cheered enthusiastically... I was buzzing! 

Afterwards we headed backstage and enjoyed playing some fun games including wink murder, chinese whispers and the hands game.

We have thoroughly enjoyed being part of the dance club this term and want to thank Miss Read for all her hard work.
