Celebrating World Book Day
Today the staff and pupils of Highnam Academy joined in the annual celebration of World Book Day. Pupils were encouraged to dress up as a character from a book and if possible to bring that book into school.
During the day books were read in classes and all the classes got together at the end of the day for some paired reading. We had a superb day and a big thank you to the parents for helping to create such a memorable day by dressing their children in some amazing outfits.
