Primary QuEST Lego Challenge
It was lovely to welcome back Mrs Thomsen, a former parent at the school to lead our PQ Lego Challenge at the end of last month. Highnam hosted the event for the 3 Primary QuEST academies.
This year the challenge was to build the tallest crane, with the longest reach which could hold the heaviest load. Simon and Bill from Ellis Crane Hire were invited to judge the competition with their expert knowledge of the subject.
This year we created a Primary QuEST team (one pupil from each school) which also competed in the challenge.
At the end of the afternoon the final results were:
1st Primary QuEST (well done Megan)
2nd Redmarley
3rd Highnam (well done Calum, Ollie and Freya)
4th Staunton and Corse.
