News from the Forest of Dean event
Congratulations to the Highnam sportshall athletics team who finished in 2nd place in the Forest of Dean small schools festival held at Dene Magna. The team of 6 boys and 6 girls could take part in 2 track events and 2 field events. The challenges were: obstacle relay, 1+1 relay, 2+2 relay, 4x1 relay, chest push, standing long jump, standing triple jump, vertical jump, soft javelin and speed bounce. The team performed superbly and were very supportive of each other throughout the event.
A big thank you to all who came along to support the team and help transport the pupils.
