News from the Year 5 Trip
Pupils, staff and parent helpers had a wonderful time on the River Severn and Avon last week. The day on the water was with Olympic rower John McLoed. The teams met at Tewkesbury Sailing Club and after choosing their boat they picked up their oars and headed out on to the water.
The three boats headed from the sailing club and into a lock and out on to the river. Whilst on the river the pupils (and staff) were set challenges along the way. At the end of the trip the pupils were excited to share their adventure with Mr Dean..."10/10" reported the class!
The teams will get back together in a few weeks for the annual Tewkesbury Regatta. All the best to the Highnam teams.
