Primary QuEST 24 Challenge

News from the first Primary QuEST 24 Challenge

On Tuesday 22nd May Highnam Academy hosted the first Primary QuEST 24 challenge. Teams from Redmarley and Staunton and Corse Academies joined with Highnam teams to see who could make '24'. There were 4 digits on a card, which were played under a visualizer and the teams had to work out how to make 24. Sound straight forward? A variety of maths skills were needed to get the answer and the answers were all checked and verified by Mr Nolan our facilitator for the afternoon. Congratulations to all the team who took part and well done to team Goldfish from Highnam who finished in 3rd place overall.
