Highnam Church Of England Primary Academy

On Friday evening the girls' football team ended their successful season on a high note as they lifted the GPSFA knockout cup. The girls started well with a speculative effort from Gracie creeping past the Waterwells goalkeeper. Eilidh made some good saves for Highnam before Highnam extended their lead with goals from Megan and Martha. The girls were thrilled to lift the trophy and continue a remarkable run as Highnam have won this competition 4 years in a row! A big thank you to Miss Phillips and Mr Holmes for supporting the pupils and to the great team of parents and grandparents who came along to cheer the girls along.
