Newent Swimming Gala 2015
Last week a team of 23 pupils took part in the Newent Primary Schools Swimming Gala. Our team was competing against Picklenash, Ann Cam and Huntley. Congratulations to Evie W, Joe T and Jacob B who got the team off to a fantastic start by winning their individual races.
This gives them a place in the Gala Final on 6th May
The relays followed the individual races. Congratulations to the Year 5 Boys' Medley team (Amaan, Jacob, Charlie and Harry) who won their race. A number of teams finished in 2nd place and will wait and see if they have qualified as the fastest runner ups.
A big thank you to the parents that helped with lifts and came along to support the team. At the end Mr Mills read out the final team results.
