School Council Toy Sale

On the 31st January the School Council held a toy sale in the school hall. Throughout Monday a number of pupils brought in a variety of toys. During lunchtime the School Council and a few extra helpers grouped the toys by price and put them out on tables. The prices ranged from 20p to £2.

Like the harvest sale the Year Six pupils helped the Reception and Year One pupils and acted like personal shoppers! The School Council ran each stall and even stayed after school to give parents an opportunity to see what was for sale.

Thank you to parents for sending in a wide variety of toys and for providing pupils with some money to spend. Mr Dean’s maths set are going to count the money as they have been looking at shopping in their lessons.

A magnificent £267.73 was raised from the Toy Sale. Thank You for your support.
