2nd Place in Mini Tennis Tournament

This year Highnam sent two teams to the Newent Mini Tennis Festival. There were 9 schools represented with the winner going through to take part in the county final at Oxstalls Tennis Centre. Jacob, Hannah, Amaan and Georgna were in Team A and Rohan, Niamh, Tom and Megan were in Team B. 

After some great tennis Team A made it through to the final and played Ann Cam School. In the end after the singles, it came down to which team who the doubles match. Unfortunately Highnam lost the doubles match by 1 point but congratulations to Ann Cam who will represent the Forest of Dean in the County Finals after half term.
