Highnam host Tag Rugby Festival
Today Highnam hosted a Year 3/4 Tag Rugby Festival. This year Hempsted and Staunton and Corse were invited to enter the competition. It was a cold, damp afternoon but the pupils didn't mind and carried on to play some excellent rugby. Highnam B and Hempsted B played in one of the first matches, Paddy scored six tries for Hemspted and this meant they won 7-6. Highnam A's first game was against Hempsted B and this was also a close game, Highnam winning by one point 6-5.
After the group stage, the final was held between Highnam A and Hempsted A. After a close game Hempsted won 6-4.
