Visit to the Old School Building and Highnam Court
In Year 3/4 we have started looking at a short topic called 'This is Highnam'. Today we visited the location of the old school near to the church and then continued on to Highnam Court where we were greeted by Roger Head, the owner. He told us about the history of the house. Afterwards, we completed a quiz around the beautiful grounds. It was a very cold yet sunny afternoon and we all enjoyed learning about the old Highnam School and Highnam Court as you can see from these photographs.
