Cathedral Concert

On Wednesday 23rd March, Highnam C of E Primary School took part in a concert organised by the Cathedral Junior Voices Project. Each term two schools benefit this project. We were fortunate to have Russell Burton, a Lay Clerk at the Cathedral, to work with us in order to develop our singing.  Yesterday was the culmination of these visits when the pupils from Key Stage Two performed in a concert with Norton Primary School, the Cathedral Choir and the County Junior Choir.

Highnam Primary School performed two songs on their own, 'This train is bound for glory' and 'Flash, Bang Wallop.' Finally all the choirs joined together to sing 'With a little help from my friends.'

All the pupils sang with gusto and passion. It was a wonderful evening enjoyed by all the proud relations, friends and teachers.
