Football Team Win GPSFA Final
The Highnam Academy A team has had a super season. They have won every game in the GPSFA league and reached the cup final which was held on Saturday 19th March. The team were very well supported by parents, grandparents, sibling, friends and staff.
In an exciting first half Highnam scored quite early on through a close range effort from Jack. Soon after Highnam again had a number of efforts on the Hardwicke goal and even hit the crossbar with a long range strike from Luke.
The second half was a lot closer but Highnam held out to secure the league and cup double! Well done to all the team for a great effort on the day and for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout the season.
