Excellent Enterprise Topic
With Dragon's Den about to start up another series, pupils in Highnam Academy have been taking on a similar business task in the new topic called 'The Apprentice'. For the past two weeks pupils have been busy stocking their stalls, marketing their businesses and meeting customers at Highnam Quays after school.
Our thanks to the whole Highnam community for supporting this event and well done to the pupils for their original ideas and for working hard to make a profit. The money raised is to be split between the school and charities chosen by the pupils.
Well done to Mrs Ruxton and Mr Tibbles for supporting the groups and to parents for purchasing some of the goods required.
