Big Pedal House Challenge
Once again we are taking part in the national Big Pedal Competition but this year we have given it a Highnam twist. We carry out a number of house competition each year and the Big Pedal is now one of them. Pupils and family members are encouraged to scoot or cycle to school and in return accumulate points for their house.
It is great to see the bike shed full and we eagerly wait to see which house will end up winning the challenge. If you haven't already get on your bike as the competition ends on Friday 29th April.
Currently Highnam Academy is at the top of the Gloucestershire leader board.
The final results are in and it was a close race:
Wetherleigh - 404 points, Oakridge - 397, Maidenhall - 376 and Lassington - 352.
Well done to everyone who supported the houses in this fantastic competition.
